The Kill Club by Wendy Heard
I loved this book and was hooked by page one. I really enjoyed getting to know Jazz and Joaquin. The characters in the story felt very real. It was nice to find out in the author's acknowledgments that the stories of the murder club members were based on true stories which the author had collected. The action moved along steadily throughout the book with plenty of twists which kept me guessing. I definitely will be reading more books by this author!

I loved this book and became heavily invested in Becca's and Heather's friendship early on. The shift between past and present allows the reader to understand the motivation behind present day Heather's behaviors and choices. The ending was well executed and left me stunned. I will definitely read more books by this author!

An enjoyable read with a huge cast of characters with an international scope. I really enjoyed the technological aspects of the story from future technologies to the intricacies of cyberhacking. It helped that there was a set of core characters on which to focus. I would definitely read future books set in this thrilling universe!

Salvaged by Madeleine Roux
This science fiction read reminded me of an episode of Star Trek. It was a really slow burn which I didn't get into until the second half of the story. It took me a while to connect with the main characters. I enjoyed the story and how Foxfire took over. There was a twist that I didn't see coming. The ending was what I had hoped would happen. I will definitely read more books by this author!

Snowball: A Christmas Horror Story by Andre Gonzalez
This short story was very creepy and some parts were downright terrifying! I liked how how each chapter was the days counting down to Christmas like a malevolent Advent Calendar. I was especially shocked by the ending. There is something very unnerving about the juxtaposition of Christmas and horror. I will no longer look at Elf on the Shelf in the same way.

I was very moved by the story of the author's family. I was able to
share in their joy, laughter, tears and hardship. The Shahani family's
courage and determination to fight back against the unfairness of

One by One by D.W Gillespie
I loved this book! I liked how the story was told from Alice's perspective because it made the story more suspenseful. The house being its own character really set the tone of the story. The parallels between between events in the past and present really helped to slowly increase the tension. The twists in this novel were really well done! I will definitely read more books by this author!

Another excellent read by Tony Bertauski! I really liked the characters and the virtual reality technology described would be amazing! The virtual reality technology in this novel seemed to be an less advanced version of the virtual technology found in The Maze series. I will definitely read more books in this wonderful series!
Rival's Break( Sharp & Donovan #10) by Carla Neggers
I loved this book from start to finish!! This was my first book by Carla Neggers as well as my first title in her Sharp & Donovan series. I loved the characters, the settings and how the mystery was finally solved. I didn't find it difficult to understand this story without having first read other books in the series which was nice. I would definitely read more books in this wonderfully entertaining series!!

A fascinating read on a subject of which I knew very little. I always thought the dividing line between real(authentic) and fake was clear cut. That it was black and white. Reading this book allowed me to discover that there are more shades of grey between the two than I could ever have imagined! I would definitely read more books by this author!

I really enjoyed this World War II story! I really liked how all the other stories branched out from the main story of Johan and his family at the concentration camp. Such an emotional subject was handled with grace! What happened during the holocaust will forever have a lasting impact! This is the second novel I have read by this author and I look forward to reading more!

I really enjoyed this story although I didn't feel sympathy for the main character until closer to the end of the story. Heatherbrae House was a very interesting setting because of the mixture of old architecture and new technology. I definitely wouldn't have felt comfortable staying in that house! Road Runners ( Wealth of Time Prequel #2) by Andre Gonzalez
Andre Gonzalez does it again! Another excellent Wealth of Time prequel that allows the reader to go behind the scenes of the Road Runners' organization and to bear witness to its genesis. I really enjoy the author's use of metaphor, simile and analogy because it makes the story more vivid. I'm really looking forward to the next book in the Wealth of Time saga!

End Times by Bryan Walsh
A very interesting read which introduced me to existential risks which could lead to humanity's end. The author's detailed explanations allowed me to better under the existential risks he was presenting as well as what can be done in order to try to mitigate those risks. I like the author am hopeful that humanity's growth will also ensure our survival in the face of adversity.

Another excellent book in this exciting series! I loved the new characters especially Eli! I'm glad that Jade finally discovered her true nature. The final battle scene was especially thrilling! I'm really looking forward to book 3!

I found myself empathizing with Nat, the main character, because of how her naivete regarding the sugar baby world allowed her to quickly get in over her head. The Seekers( Krewe of Hunters #28) by Heather Graham
This was my first novel by Heather Graham and also my first Krewe of Hunters story. I liked that the mystery from the past informed the mystery in the present. The characters were interesting and complex. The twists in the second half of the story were entertaining. I really enjoyed the paranormal aspects of the book. I hope that there will be further stories featuring Joe, Dallas, Keri and Carl. I would definitely read more Krewe Hunters stories as well as more books by Heather Graham.

A fascinating book which taught me a great deal about not only the inner workings of the heart but also the evolution of humanity's understanding of the heart. Through patient stories the author put a a human face to the complexities of heart disease. The advances in surgical techniques and advances in life saving devices have been staggering. I can only imagine what further advances there will be within the next decade and beyond.

Those People by Louise Candlish
Wow, what an excellent story! I was hooked from page one. Such an interesting cast of characters living together in an English suburb. The complex relationships and interactions between the main cast of characters was a joy to read! I like how the relationships between the characters changed as the story progressed. A very well written and beautiful story that I absolutely adored! The characters were complex and very well developed. I could relate to Elixa's pursuit of knowledge as learning is also very important to me. I could vividly picture the Abbey and the surrounding area. Such a fascinating community! The ending was perfect! I look forward to reading more books in this trilogy!
Transplanted: My Cystic Fibrosis and Double-Lung Transplant Story by Allison Watson
I found this novel very moving and inspiring! Not only did Allison Watson deal with cystic fibrosis but she also had a double lung transplant and endured chemo treatment for post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder(PTLD) Her resilience and strength are phenomenal! I am incredibly happy that the author is doing well. I learned so much about cystic fibrosis, double lung transplants and PTLD. Thank you Allison for sharing your story!

Your Life Is Mine by Nathan Ripley
A slow burn of a novel that took a while to draw me in. I really liked the friendship between Jaya and Blanche. Also it was interesting to learn about the cult. The majority of the book was spent getting to know Blanche, Jaya, Chrissy, Chuck and other supporting players in the story. I liked learning about the character's backgrounds but wish the events in the second half of the book had taken place sooner. There were a few surprises which was nice. I look forward to reading more titles by Nathan Ripley.
