Wow, what an excellent read!! I loved how the mother/daughter relationship was portrayed! There is much more to this story than at first glance. My eyes were kept glued to the page because I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. The shocking twist at the end made me audibly gasp. Very well done! I can not say enough good things about this book!
I really enjoyed this thrilling read! It was nice to have been able to understand this story without having read any of the previous books in this series. I liked the cast of characters especially Frieda Klein because of how her astute observations allowed her to piece together what had happened on the night of the murders. The gloomy weather really helped to set the tone of the novel. I was shocked and surprised by a twist at the end of the book. This book was very well done
This book was a slow burn but moved at a more brisk pace in the second half. I really liked that the main characters interactions were directly tied to a daily commute. The multiple twists took me by surprise and kept me guessing. The epilogue at the of the story was the perfect end to an engaging read.
I loved everything about this book! The characters were very compelling. Numerous secrets and twists which kept my eyes glued to the page. I enjoyed that the story moved between past and present. So much happened in this book that it was shocking to realize that it all took place within a short period of time.
