Road Runners ( Wealth of Time Prequel #2) by Andre Gonzalez

Road Runners (Wealth of Time Prequel #2) by [Andre Gonzalez]

Andre Gonzalez does it again! Another excellent Wealth of Time prequel that allows the reader to go behind the scenes of the Road Runners' organization and to bear witness to its genesis.  I really enjoy the author's use of metaphor, simile and analogy because it makes the story  more vivid.  I'm really looking forward to the next book in the Wealth of Time saga!

The author's detailed explanations allowed me to better under the existential risks he was presenting as well as what can be done in order to try to mitigate those risks. I like the author am hopeful that humanity's growth will also ensure our survival in the face of adversity.

The Arrangement by Robyn Harding

I really enjoyed this book! It was interesting to learn more about the sugar baby/sugar daddy world. I found myself empathizing with Nat, the main character, because of how her naivete regarding the sugar baby world allowed her to quickly get in over her head. The reveal of what really happened surprised me. I look forward to reading more books by this author!

The Seekers( Krewe of Hunters #28) by Heather Graham

This was my first novel by Heather Graham and also my first Krewe of Hunters story. I liked that the mystery from the past informed the mystery in the present. The characters were interesting and complex. The twists in the second half of the story were entertaining. I really enjoyed the paranormal aspects of the book. I hope that there will be further stories featuring Joe, Dallas, Keri and Carl. I would definitely read more Krewe Hunters stories as well as more books by Heather Graham.

What crazy ride it was reading this horror anthology! So many different types of horror pulled me in many different directions. From the fast paced to the slow paced and everything in between. I enjoyed the stories in this anthology for the most part although there were some I enjoyed less than others. I would definitely read another horror anthology edited by Matt Shaw!
