 A fascinating exploration of the impact of literature on our views about motherhood. This book was very accessible and relatable. I especially enjoyed how Mullins shared examples from her own life. Very well done.

 This book was outstanding! I loved the bond between Norah, Alicia and Jessica! Miss Fairchild was a truly monstrous human being! I never saw the twists coming.

Child's Play by Danielle Steel

 

Another excellent book by Danielle Steel! I loved sharing in all of the trials and tribulations of this tight knit family. The pace wasn't too fast nor too slow.

Messenger: Violet Sky Book 1 by Collin Irish

Daughter of Mine by Megan Miranda

 

 I loved this action packed, cleverly plotted, and suspenseful read! The family dynamics and twists kept my eyes glued to the page. The ending was shocking because I never saw it coming.

Rabbit Heart: A Mother's Murder, A Daughter's Story by Kristine S. Ervin

 

 This honest and beautiful memoir really touched me. Ervin is very open regarding the impact her mother's brutal murder has had on her. She shows great courage in sharing her story. This novel will affect all who read it.

Off The Air by Christina Estes

 

 I really wanted to like this book more than I did. I didn't like the main character or any of the other characters. The mystery and its resolution didn't interest me.

Good Half Gone by Tarryn Fisher

 

 I was completely blown away by this book! The twists came fast and furious during the last half of the book. This book was a real page turner!

Time Fugitive( An Arielle Lucila Thriller) by Andre Gonzalez

 

Another outstanding addition to the Arielle Lucila series! This novel contains the perfect blend of humor, action, and suspense. Andre Gonzalez expertly crafted Doyle Grady into a very menacing and disturbing killer.

Dopeworld: Adventures in the Global Drug Trade by Niko Vorobyov

 

I really enjoyed this fascinating and well researched read. The author wrote it in such a way that it's easy to understand. Very well done.

Bye, Baby by Carola Lovering

 

 I was hooked by the first page! I loved seeing how the friendship between Cassie and Billie changed as they aged. I felt a lot of sympathy towards Billie because of all she experienced growing up and her struggles into adulthood. Very well done.

Subversive( A Violet Sky Short Story) by Collin Irish

 

 I loved this exciting and thought provoking short story. The world is well developed and complex. The concept of an immersive experience on an entire planet was fascinating. I love Glyn and hope to see her in future books.

The Guest by B.A. Paris

 

 Wow, this story was more complex than it appeared at first glance. I liked that it was told from dual points of view. The action, the drama, mystery all helped to increase the suspense. My opinion of one character changed the closer to the end of the novel. The multiple twists left me awestruck.

The Witch In The Woods(Grimmworld #1) by Michaelbrent Collings

 

I really enjoyed this amazing, harrowing, suspenseful and fun read! I loved how it changed a familiar fairy tale into something unique. You won't be able to put this book down.

The Fortune Seller by Rachel Kapelke-Dale

 

 I absolutely loved this book and was captivated from the start. It was fun to disappear into ivy league academia, equestrian competition and the world of the economic elite. The shocking twists were delightful.

The Women by Kristin Hannah

 

 This story was full of tragic, sad, emotional, and hopeful moments! It was so descriptive that I felt like I was there with Frankie, Ethel and Barb! There were many parts which were hard to read. The ending especially moved me to tears. I learned a great deal about the Vietnam War, the women who served and how they were treated after they returned home. It's important that their stories are never forgotten.

On Shattered Wings: A Family's Journey From Grief To Hope by Nancy Sprowell Geise, Jim Dultmeier, Lori Dultmeier

 A brutally honest, heart wrenching, and emotional account of how drunk driving took the life of a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I'm thankful that the Dultmeiers were willing to share so much with the author. It's important that those who drink and drive understand the risk they pose to themselves and to the general public.

The House of Last Resort by Christopher Golden

 

 I loved this very creepy Gothic horror novel! The descriptions of Becchina's culture, people, buildings, weather and the house were so vivid that I felt like I was actually there along with the main characters. It's a slow burn but stick with it because there's a big payoff especially in the end. I won't say anything more because I want to avoid spoilers.

Twenty-Seven Minutes by Ashley Tate

 

 Wow, this outstanding book completely blew me away! Raw emotions, secrets,  and lies were woven throughout. I never expected the twists which were revealed at the end. This novel will pull you in and won't let go.

The Search Party by Hannah Richell

 

I loved this engaging, action packed, and suspenseful read! The isolated setting and the storm really helped ratchet up the tension. All of the secrets, twists and lies really made this a fun read. This is one book that you won't want to miss.

Far Out by Khaled Talib

 

I really enjoyed the first half of this books because I loved the characters and I found it really entertaining. The second had a lot of excitement but I wished that more had been revealed about Blake's past early on. I wish what had made the first half of the book so entertaining had continue longer into the second half of the book. It's not a bad book.
