 I really enjoyed this heartfelt memoir. The author's insights into complex issues surrounding death and dying really made me think. Marsh's reflections regarding his surgical career and his cancer diagnosis were very moving.

 I really enjoyed this very entertaining read! It reminded me of an episode of The Twilight Zone or similar anthology series. The idea of being able to use an old TV and VCR tapes to travel to the past was outstanding! I loved how Sam and Jordan became closer as the story progressed. The ending was very moving.

Kapelke-Dale effortlessly brought me into the world of a young jet-setting piano prodigy. I really enjoyed following Saskia's journey throughout the decades. The Fairy Tales for Young Feminists excerpts at the opening of each chapter were inspired. Very well done.

 I really enjoyed this book! I loved that it focuses mainly on Betty Gow, the Lindbergh's  nanny. Fredericks really makes the time period come alive for the reader. Betty Gow was a remarkable woman. Charlie's kidnapping and the aftermath was such a tragedy. This book was very moving and very well done.

The Collector (Kaldan and Shafer #2) by Anne Mette Hnacock

 

 Wow, what an excellent read! I really enjoyed the mystery surrounding Lukas' disappearance and the investigation itself. The verbal jousting between Kaldan and Schafer was fun to read. I liked that I was able to easily understand the story without having read book 1. One twist which took me completely by surprise. I can't recommend this book enough.

 Another excellent travel memoir by E.J. Bauer! I really enjoyed her vivid descriptions of the places she traveled and of the fascinating people she met. Reading about the delectable meals she consumed made me drool with envy. I can't wait to read the next Someday Travels book!

  I loved this dark thriller! There were many parts which were hard to read because they were so visceral but I read on because I was transfixed by Shay's story. I loved the journey she went on as she learned more about herself and found her strength. The true crime podcast interviews between Shay and Jamie were a nice touch. I won't say anything more because I want to avoid spoilers.

I understand the pull of the ocean because I have experienced it myself. The sound of the waves crashing on the shore, the ocean's many moods and the smell of salt in the air. I loved the heartbreaking twist at the end. Very well done!
