The story within these pages at first seems to be fairly straightforward but completely veers off in very unexpected directions. I found my feelings about Ted shifted throughout the book. The ending was a nice surprise. I won't say more than that because I don't want to spoil the book for other readers.
I really enjoyed this unnerving read! The author expertly showed the parallels between the child and the killer. I found the child's story more compelling than that of the murderer because I really like creepy kids in novels. I look forward to reading the sequel to this story.
This was such an excellent read! I was sad to see it end. I loved the unique world that the author created! The cast of characters were very entertaining. I look forward to reading the other two books in this marvelous series!
This was a slow burn and it took me a little while to get into the story. I found the story more interesting once I learned more about Cassie. The twist at the end is one that I didn't see coming. I wish the ending could have been different but I understand why it had to be end that way.
I loved this excellent read! I was hooked by page one. Having a "normal" main character along with two psychopaths really helped to highlight the differences between the three of them. Chloe's schemes and planning were especially entertaining. The title is perfect because I definitely didn't guess the big twist at the end.
