I loved this thought provoking and poignant post apocalyptic read. It was interesting to see how each character handled the months leading up to the end of the world. I questioned how I would have reacted if I was in their place. The ending was very moving.

Another excellent book in the Someday Travels series! I love how Bauer's descriptions help me to really gain a sense of the character of each place she visits. I really enjoy finding out about the people she meets, the food she eats and all she experiences. I eagerly look forward to each new addition to this wonderful series!

 It was impossible not to fall in love with Lenny! I was easily drawn into her world. The sad parts were well balanced with the humorous. I couldn't put this book down.

The Midnight Club by Margot Harrison

 

 I loved everything about this book from the characters, to the setting and the idea of being able to relive past memories. The alternating viewpoints shifting from past to present helped the story keep its momentum. A must read!

 I really enjoyed this slow burn YA horror read. Most of the action happens in the final part of the book. I liked the characters and that they had an urban legend club. I was shocked by all of the twists especially the ones near the end. Be patient with this book because the payoff at the end is worth it.

I adored this beautiful, emotional and moving read! The love Joseph and Evelyn share is a love story for the ages. It was pure joy to travel with them throughout the decades. The last few chapters were so touching and made me cry. This debut is a shining beacon in the darkest of nights.
