 I loved this creepy mashup of noir fiction and cosmic horror! The character names were fun and inventive. This short story oozed atmosphere and visceral imagery. I couldn't put it down!

Keeping My Sisters' Secrets by Beezy Marsh

 

 The inspiring and captivating story of three impoverished sisters who grew up in London during the 30s and 40s. Marsh really made the time period and setting came alive for me. The level of detail is outstanding! It was beautiful to see to how the bond between the sisters was never broken. 

 

The Final Flash by Andre Gonzalez

 

 A terrifying short story of a night in the woods gone horribly wrong. This book was really suspenseful and action packed. This is one that can't be missed.

 A fun and twisted version of A Christmas Carol! Andre Gonzalez, never disappoints! I really liked the twist at the end.

What The Woods Took by Courtney Gould

 

I loved this creepy, suspenseful and intense read! The description of the woods was really visceral and unnerving. Definitely not for the faint of heart. This is the type of book which keeps your eyes glued to the page.

Trouble Island by Sharon Short

 

 The level of detail that Short put into her novel made the setting and time period come alive. I was riveted from page one. I loved this exciting, harrowing and suspenseful read!
