 This novel was very moving, informative and inspiring! I loved how the history of the Freeman family was told from the viewpoints of past generations. The level of detail was astounding. I was captivated from page one. This is one read that can't be missed!

 

 

Timber Beast: Twisted Tales of Familiar Faces by A.K. Hughey

 

 I have mixed feelings about this Paul Bunyan horror retelling. I really liked the characters and the overall menacing nature of the woods. I feel that too much time was spent on describing the role of the lumberjacks and their teams. I enjoyed the ending.

Nine Minutes Eleven Seconds by L.V. Pederson

 

 Wow, this book was amazing! The main characters were really well developed which made them more sympathetic. There was a lot of suspense, action and twists! The plot was very cleverly crafted. This is a read that can't be missed!

The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia

 

 I enjoyed this book for the most part but found the ending rushed. The characters were interesting and the twists were surprising. Not as suspenseful as I would have liked.

The Favorites by Layne Fargo

 

 I loved this engaging and moving romance! It was wonderful to have a front row seat to the world of ice dancing competitions. Compelling characters who changed a lot throughout the story further added to my enjoyment.
