This book was expertly plotted. Chapters alternating between past and present kept the story engaging. The jaw dropping twists toward the end were exciting. Very well done.

Kapelke-Dale effortlessly brought me into the world of a young jet-setting piano prodigy. I really enjoyed following Saskia's journey throughout the decades. The Fairy Tales for Young Feminists excerpts at the opening of each chapter were inspired. Very well done.
Wow, this book was so good! Janey was such a complex character and is definitely more than she seems. The twists at the end really shocked me! I look forward to reading other books in The Redemption series. Very well done!
Wow, I was completely blown away by this book! Alice is such a funny, relatable and courageous character. I love how her power is directly tied in to her emotions. There were so many parts which made me laugh and smile. I couldn't get enough of this wonderful book! I look forward to reading more books by this author!
I really enjoyed this book! I loved that it focuses mainly on Betty Gow, the Lindbergh's nanny. Fredericks really makes the time period come alive for the reader. Betty Gow was a remarkable woman. Charlie's kidnapping and the aftermath was such a tragedy. This book was very moving and very well done.
