I loved this book! It was cleverly plotted, suspenseful and full of
twists. I was really shocked by what happened in the second half of the
book. Everything that I thought I knew was wrong. Fascinating
characters. Very well done and impossible to put down.
I loved this disturbing, captivating and intense read. Definitely not for the faint of heart. The gore was integral to the story and wasn't only used for shock value. I found Emmett, the main character, very likeable and felt a lot of sympathy for him. The juxtaposition of a weight loss drug trial with horror was a stroke of genius and worked very well. I really appreciated all of the news stories, blog posts, and interviews included in the book because it made story even more realistic. Very well done.
I loved this creepy, suspenseful and visceral read. The
author excelled at vivid description and taking the reader inside her
character's psyches. There were many twists that I never saw coming. My
loyalties constantly shifting between the two main characters. This book
was brutal to read at times so it's definitely not for the faint of
heart.
