Ten Days Gone (A.L McKittridge #1) by Beverly Long

49097388. sy475

A  decent police procedural with interesting character development and an  intriguing premise.  It was a really slow burn with most of the action taking place close to the end of the story.  I wish that there had been at least some chapters or scenes from the killer's point of view in order to add suspense. I like Rena and A.L enough to want to read further stories featuring them.

An excellent read which explores the impact of physical abuse on the two main characters, the abuser, their families and their school. I really enjoyed how earlier chapter titles are based on aspects of the two main characters' personalities and identities It was nice to see how the growth of both characters by the end of the story. This is the second novel I have read by the author and I look forward to reading more.

This book was a slow burn for quite a while and I wasn't certain if I liked it. Once the action ramped up I was hooked! I enjoyed the intricate and highly detailed world created by the author and I loved the friendship between the three main characters! I look forward to reading the next books in this series!

Wow, what an intense techo-thriller! I was hooked from the first page and couldn't put it down. The idea of The Game ever being possible is very unsettling. There were twists that I didn't expect especially the ending. I would love to read more books by this author!

An excellent read! I enjoyed learning about the lives of women at the turn of the century. The women in this story are strong, courageous and overcame many hardships to ultimately triumph over a society which tried to limit them. I would love to read more books by this author!
