This story was engaging, harrowing, and at times very hard to
read. Each chapter alternated between the points of view of a mother
and her teenage son. It was very easy to care about the characters and
feel sympathy for them. The author described everything in so much
detail, that I felt like I was experiencing the situations right along
with Peggy and her son Samson. This book was impossible to put down.
